Rental Terms and Conditions

2. Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% is required to confirm the reservation. Full payment is due by 48 hrs prior to event.

3. Security Deposit

A security deposit of 15% of rental fee is required at the time of rental. This deposit will be refunded after inspection of the returned items, provided there is no damage, loss, or late return.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are possible within 48 hours of paying the deposit. After that, any cancellation will forfeit the deposit paid. Cancellations for local events can be made up to 72 hours prior to the event. For events outside Los Angeles, cancellations require a 5-day lead time. Handling costs and deposits are non-refundable.

5. Cleaning Fee

A cleaning fee of $30 applies to all orders. Items should be rinsed and free of food debris before return. Failure to rinse items may result in an additional excessive cleaning fee of $30.

6. Loss and Damage

The customer is responsible for any lost or damaged items. Missing or irreparably damaged cutlery may render the entire set unfit for rental, in which case all 4 pieces will be charged at their full retail value for replacement cost of $50 per fork, spoon, or knife =$200 retail value.

8. Late Return Fees

Items not returned by the agreed date will incur a late fee of 25% of the total rental value per day, up to a maximum of 2 days. If items are not returned within 2 days, the customer will be charged the full retail replacement cost.

9. Sales Tax

Local Sales tax will be applied to the total rental fee and any additional charges as per local regulations.

10. Inspection Upon Return

All items will be inspected upon return. If any loss or damage is found, the customer will be notified within 12 business hours, and any applicable charges will be deducted from the security deposit or authorization form. Please note that damage to any item may render the entire set unfit for rental, in which case the full retail value of the set ($200) will be charged.

11. Acknowledgment of Terms

A rental release form will be provided for signature confirmation from the responsible party. By signing, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this Rental Agreement.
